ESSS 2026 at Bruxelles EBB2

Aniruddh : I had an absolutely fantastic time at the European School Science Symposium in Brussels. Beyond the fascinating posters and presentations, the best part was definitely the people I met, getting to know such extremely innovative and passionate young scientists from all over Europe. Also, exploring the city together and sharing new ideas made it a trip I will forget.

Maryam: ESSS 2026 was an amazing experience where I got to meet a lot of new people and learn about a variety of projects other students presented. From the welcoming at EEB2, to the closing ceremony at Eurocontrol, the atmosphere created by the host was very warm and friendly. Some of the most memorable experiences were for sure the excursion to ‘Technopolis’ and ‘Funolympics’ (a series of games the host had organized). If I had the chance, I would definetly do it again.

Yulia: From the journey there to the journey back, I had a memorable time. I met so many like-minded people and took inspiration from their ideas and presentations. We spent nights talking about our projects and eating chicken wings, and I watched people panic about their upcoming presentations. We were all in the same boat, sharing and learning ways to pursue your interests. A few long speeches later from an astronaut), the closing ceremony ended and we were coming home. I loved every minute of it!

Shivansh & Cristian: Participating in ESSS26 in  EEB2 was a valuable experience for us. We had the opportunity to present our project and meet many new students from all across Europe. It was interesting to see a variety of innovative projects and exchange ideas with them.
