Fashion in EEB1

Things that are trending right now include retro clothing, like flared and low-rise baggy jeans, tracksuits, mini scarves, vintage hoodies and bags and more. In the winter season, many girls prefer puffer jackets paired with warm fluffy scarves and small handbags, and guys often go for baggy jeans or sweatpants paired with a rain jacket and sneakers. What are your fashion preferences? Is your style accepted by the people surrounding you?

We conducted interviews with several students in the school, asking for their opinions on fashion. Alex describes his style as “very chill and relaxed”. He also mentions, “Fashion doesn’t really play a big role in my life, because I’m too lazy to make an effort to dress properly”. If you’d like to replicate his outfit, his pants are from Dickies, shoes from Nike, and his jacket is from Under Armour. “Fashion plays a significant role in my life because I like to dress nicely” says Asbjørn and describes his style as simple. His shoes are from Nike, the pants are from Levi’s and his jacket is from Patagonia. Both Asbjørn and Alex feel that school fashion could use a bit of improvement.

Paula describes her style as Basic and states that fashion doesn’t play a big role in her life. “There are more important things in life” says Paula. Her shoes are from Adidas, her pants from Bershka and her sweater is from Subdued. Alba describes her style as “Very baggy and comfy”. “I think that fashion doesn’t play a big role in my life, because the clothes are too expensive, and it takes to much time to find a good outfit.

If I had interviewed you, what would you have said?

In the end, fashion has no rights or wrongs, and you can wear anything you want and that makes you feel comfortable. Don’t be afraid to express yourself and wear your outfits with

confidence!
